Meet at the center court of Chamorro Village in Hagatña at 9:00 A.M. Cost remains $2 for those
over 12 years of age. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and comfortable clothing and bring 2 quarts of water
for a 3-4 hour adventure rated EASY. Sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, lunch and camera also

We head to a coastline and World War II sites!
Every Saturday, Guam Boonie Stompers offers public hikes to a
variety of destinations such as beaches, snorkeling sites, waterfalls,
mountains, caves, latte sites, and World War II sites. We meet at
9:00 AM in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagatña along
Marine Corps Drive.
The cost is $2.00 for hikers over 12. Children must be
accompanied by a responsible adult. Complete 10 hikes for a free
Boonie Stomp T-shirt. Hikers should provide their own transportation.
Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the
hikes more difficult than described.
No reservations required.
Stomp Tips: Alcohol and hikes do not mix. Do not bring beverages
with caffeine on hikes. Always bring plenty of water on a hike.

Tweed's Cave

Distance: 4 hours for 1 mile
We hike and climb up to the World War II hideout of U.S. Navy radioman George Tweed from October 21, 1942 to July 1944, a unique feature of our history. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Steep climbing up and down over rough rocks. Advance registration and payment required on July 2. We travel to several sites for short walks to historic features for the Liberation of Guam in July 1944. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Short climbs and possible mud, slippery slopes, and swordgrass at Mount Alifan.

Talofofo Bay to Inarajan Bay

We hike along this remote Asiga coastline with a few stops to cool off in the water. Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking boots, water shoes, swimsuit, gloves, insect repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Long stretches of walking in water, over rough rocks, no shade, and possible surf.
