Every Saturday, Guam Boonie Stompers offers public hikes to a variety of destinations such as beaches, snorkeling sites, waterfalls, mountains, caves, latte sites, and World War II sites. We meet at 9:00 AM in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagatña along Marine Corps Drive. The cost is $2.00 for hikers over 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Complete 10 hikes a get a Boonie Stomp T-shirt. Hikers should provide their own transportation. Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the hikes more difficult than described. No reservations required.  Stomp Tips: Alcohol and hikes do not mix.  Do not bring beverages with caffeine on hikes.  Always bring plenty of water on a hike.

Mount Tenjo              
 
Difficulty Rating: Medium          
 
Duration: 34.5 hours for 3 miles
 
We hike to historic features along the Mount Chaochao to Mount Tenjo ridge. Bring: 3 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Swordgrass

Ylig to Tagachang
 
Difficulty Rating: Medium          
 
Duration: 4.5 hours for 2 miles
 
We explore the headlands, beaches, and reefs of eastern Guam at Yona. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking boots, water shoes, swimsuit, gloves, insect repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Walking in water, a short stretch of rough rocks, and possible surf.

Geus River & Mount Finansanta
 
Difficulty Rating: Very Difficult      
Duration: 6-7 hours for 3.7 miles

We explore the gorge within the mountains of southern Guam. For the bold, we climb to the summit of Mount Finansanta. Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, water shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Swordgrass, steep slopes, and walking in the water and over rocks.

Ritidian to Falcona Beach          
 
Difficulty Rating: Difficult          
 
Duration: 6 hours for 6 miles

We hike the long sandy beach south of Ritidian Point to secluded Falcona Beach. Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Some walking in water, a long walk in sand, and no pets.
